Welcome to the Penmark community web site. The site is primarily designed for residents but visitors are welcome to learn about the fine community spirit within the village and hopefully visit and enjoy the beautiful village and surrounding countryside.
Villagers will be able to view any number of photographs of local events and in due course hopefully more historical information will be forthcoming and the site will become a useful reference site and one to give pleasure.
The village of Penmark has a history going back to about 1200 with part of the church dating from that period. An excellent publication ‘Penmark Past’ by Maureen Bullows is essential reading for anyone interested in the history of the village. Copies can be obtained by contacting the Village Hall link.
